Ever since I was a child, I’ve been captivated by the beauty of water lilies blooming in muddy ponds—a contrast that continues to inspire my work today.
My art explores the intersection of reality and the viewer’s imagination, moving beyond literal
representation into emotional atmosphere. Working intuitively, I build layered compositions
through fluid colors and rich textures, and subtle disruptions through dripping paint and light reactive gold element. Each piece is a dialogue between what is seen and what is felt.

Hi, I'm Amita; a self-taught artist from Hubli, India.
I always wanted to pursue art because that would make me feel content. But I ended up doing engineering and subsequently a corporate job.
What started off as a hobby close to my heart, turned into a part of my daily life when I quit my job in the corporate back in 2010. When life gave me another chance at being an artist, I couldn't have asked for more.
